Topical Applications

In the very early stages of thinning you may want to try products which form a coating on the strands of hair to create the illusion of a thicker head of hair.

Laser Therapy

Laser therapy will not cure the genetic problem but it’s an option in the very early stages of hair loss,as it will slow down the rate of loss.

Traditional Hairpieces

Traditional headpieces still have there place where other forms of hair replacement are not desirable or practical, for instance, hair loss following Chemotherapy and they have advanced to the point where they’re better fitting, more comfortable and of greater quality than ever before. When custom made they can be incredibly realistic.

Surgical Transplants

Hair transplant surgery is the only way to have hair that grows, it has evolved from the primitive “plug” transplants of the 80s and 90s to the widely sought-after treatment, FUE but it’s worth noting that FUE hair treatment just like the former hair transplant procedures is simply a matter of moving hair follicles from one area of the scalp to another, folicles do not regenerate in the extraction sites so the limitation is there’s no increase in overall density.

The Second Skin Systems

Both Ttradional hairpieces and surgical transplants have been overshadowed by developments in hair replacement systems. These days it’s possible to inject strands of natural or synthetic hair into a “second skin” to create a thicker, fuller head of hair. In much the same way as a contact lens is applied to the eye, the second skin is completely seamless and undetectable from your natural hair, but they provide the density and look you desire.

Sarah cuts my hair and system and is fantastic at what she does, very friendly and accommodating. She styles my hair exactly to my liking.
